The annual event was held in the university main campus this year under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, the dean of the College of Engineering, Assist. Professor Dr. Laith Shaker Rashid Al-Qarawi, and a number of faculty members from the Civil Engineering Department. The guests greeted the new graduates (Morning Study Enrollments) and took part in various activities such as taking photos and sharing memories, among others.
With a memorable speech to the audience, the dean revealed his deep feelings about this important event. He briefly highlighted why such an event has such a significant impact on students’ lives and future careers. “We salute these graduates for their dedication and accomplishments in helping to strengthen our country and pave the road for a brighter future,” stated the dean. Likewise, the graduates expressed their gratitude to their professors and department staff for their dedication and hard work in assisting them in overcoming all obstacles, particularly during the global pandemic.
